How much detailed information can LiveSTATS.XSP report?

What if I forget my password or forget where to go to get my statistics, who do I
contact?
You can contact us at webteam@orcsweb.com and we will find this
information for you.

How can I view unique IP Addresses of each visitor for my website?
There are two Report Groups you can view IP Addresses of your visitors, 'Live Statistics'
and 'Demographics'. Under 'Live Statistics', you can view IP Addresses of your visitors
from the latest 3 hours. Under 'Demographics', click the drop down list for 'Related
Reports' and navigate down to 'Company or ISP'. Here, you will see an IP Address range of the Company or ISP your visitor is using. However, this is the most that
LiveSTATS.XSP will track regarding unique IP Addresses.

How can I track visitors by Cookies?
Send the cookie information for us to track to webteam@orcsweb.com and we
will configure the settings for you.

Why are there boxes with a red cross in the corner on the page?
LiveSTATS.XSP requires an installation of Java Virtual Machine to use their interactive
interface. You will need to download and install this applet from http://java.sun.com/

I have installed Java, but the graph and calendar aren't coming up in my window.
How can I check my browser settings to verify that Java is enabled?
-
Open 'Internet Explorer' and find the 'Menu' bar.
- Click 'Tools'
- 'Options'
- 'Security' Tab
- Make sure 'Internet' is selected
- Click 'Custom level' button
- A new window will appear, scroll down near the bottom of this list and
verify the 'Scripting of Java applets' is not disabled.
Or Click 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' > Click the 'Advanced' tab > Scroll
down to 'Java' and verify that 'Use Java 2 v 1.4.2_06' is enabled.
top
Why is the total bandwidth for the week consistently at 204GB?
This is a limitation for the database that the vendor is currently considering for
the next full installation. Therefore, for now, LiveSTATS.XSP will only report a
maximum of 204GB.
top
Many times my 'Who's On' information appears to be behind or stalled; why is that?
LiveSTATS.XSP does not understand the concept of time. The 'Who's On' information
is updated when your website receives visitors. The logs are read every 15 seconds
for new information. If your website is not viewed for an extended period of time, the 'Who's On' information will remain stale and appear as LiveSTATS.XSP has stalled.
Also, the 'Who's On' feature has a timeout period of 30 minutes. If you receive a visitor and they leave and then return within 30 minutes, it will not show as
a new visitor. If you believe your LiveSTATS.XSP information is incorrect, you may
request access to your IIS log files to compare the logs to the LiveSTATS.XSP application.

How can I generate a Summary report to be emailed to me?
Navigate to the report you would like to email, then click the 'Email' tab at the
top of the page. Here you can choose which format to send, HTML or PDF.
top
How do I exclude a certain page from being logged into my statistics?
Click the 'Settings' tab at the top of the page, then click 'Page Mapping'. Add
'New Page Mapping' and name it 'Page Exclusions'. Keep 'Page URL' as the 'Page Type',
then Select 'Exclude From Statistics' radio button. Click 'Next', then you can enter all the pages you would like to exclude or click 'Select From List' to choose your
pages.
When you are finished, click 'Save'.
One note: once this exclusion has been applied, your statistics will reflect the addition after you click 'Save' from that point on. If you need this setting to
be applied to older reports, we would need to re-import the log files which could
take up to 24 hours. Also, due to the large amounts of space these logs files consume,
we can only keep around 6 months worth of logs for every website.
top
Why is my domain listed under 'Referral Exclusions'?
This is to exclude your domain from the 'Referrals' reports.
top
How much historical data will LiveSTATS.XSP track?
A total of one year. Previous installations that tracked longer than a year have
proved to be too database intensive which compromised performance. LiveSTATS.XSP
allows reports to be emailed and stored locally if you are interested in keeping
more than one year.
top
Can I view reports on specific U.S. States?
No, due to the use of proxies and large ISP's with a country-wide client base, this
information isn't completely accurate. For example, visitors using AOL will log
their location as Virginia, even though they may be located in Minnesota. For this
reason, LiveSTATS.XSP no longer reports the Country or State demographics.
top
Can LiveSTATS.XSP track data for all my domain name pointers separately?
No, since these are really the same website and just redirects within that website, all the logs are placed together. LiveSTATS.XSP treats them as one website.
top
Can LiveSTATS.XSP track data for subdomains?
No, this is similar to the way LiveSTATS.XSP treats domain name pointers. If your
subdomains are organized in separate directories from your root, then you could
track data in this manner. Other than that, LiveSTATS.XSP will not be able to track
subdomains.

What link do I use to view my statistics?
It depends on which instance your account was set up on. It could be one of the following:
http://livestats7b.orcsweb.com/>
http://livestats7c.orcsweb.com/>
http://livestats7d.orcsweb.com/>
http://livestats7e.orcsweb.com/>
Please check with us at webteam@orcsweb.com to locate your account.

Can I add my own custom file extensions to be tracked?

global level. You can contact us at webteam@orcsweb.com and let us know which file extension and we'll configure this for you.

which day you would like to view in the calendar above. Here, your pages will be

traffic by the hour, then Click 'Traffic Reports' in the left navigation menu and
make sure you choose the day you would like to view in the calendar above. If you

detailed.
