If you need what InfoWorld describes as Cloud Computing:
“… what IT always needs: a way to increase capacity or
add capabilities on the fly without
investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new
software” then Advanced Infrastructure (AI) Hosting is for you. AI is a large, powerful environment, with the
flexibility to allocate resources among clients dynamically as they are
needed and relinquish them when the need passes. Because you are working with
resources that can be allocated when needed and then removed rather than a fixed
configuration, you have
tremendous power, disk storage, network bandwidth, and full redundancy to handle
your heaviest loads. What you don’t have is the expense of a large dedicated
environment that may not be fully used much of the time. AI Hosting is ideal
for those whose resource needs ebb and flow quickly, or for those who have been
in a traditional shared environment but are finding their needs changing
rapidly.

This environment (
see diagram) is made up of multiple high-end
host systems. Virtual Center re-allocates AI resources between the servers
dynamically as needed, based on load and availability. We ensure that there are
always enough resources on every host so that if one host is unavailable, the
other can handle the entire load without performance degradation. It provides
the benefits of a Cloud Computing environment: reliable, robust, and flexible
with zero downtime.
On the back end, we are using redundant. Typical of a Cloud, the operating
system has its own disks to prevent contention with user data access. Advanced
Infrastructure plans start at $499 per month.
